The Revere Room
at Rosewood Miramar Beach

The Revere Room serves as an homage to one of Southern California’s greatest architects. Paul Revere Williams was known throughout the 20th century as a trailblazer of the industry, defying the odds as an African-American draftsman propelled by indisputable talent and determination. With the who’s who of Hollywood regularly knocking at his door, Williams earned the nickname “Architect to The Stars” and became one of the most notable designers in history.

This culinary haven honors its namesake, whose extraordinary work can be seen throughout Rosewood Miramar Beach, directly influencing the designs of The Manor House’s grand staircase and Cabana Pool.

Art Direction

This logo design pays homage to the legendary Paul Williams who inspired many recognizable moments at Miramar. I wanted the script to evoke a sense of nostalgia, and to feel established and classic. The logo also has a touch of softness and movement, much like the design elements in the restaurant and property.

This concept is also a nod to the iconic and widely recognized logo Paul Williams designed for the Beverly Hills Hotel. While the typefaces are noticeably different, there is still a timeless feeling about both designs and a liveliness with the angle of the text.
