Emilia

Inspired by the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, Emilia is a modern take on a traditional Italian restaurant. Emilia serves delicious hand-made pastas, grass-fed beef, wild caught fish, locally sourced produce, delectable pastries while taking pride in its extensive wine list.

Art Direction

Based on the renderings of the restaurant build out, I proposed 3 logo concepts of which the below was selected as the final design. I wanted to create a logo that was distinct, contemporary, and structural to fit the space. With bold lines and a clean typeface, the branding embodied the elevated dining experience. I also wanted to add an additional unique element by lowering the logo placement to ground the design further. I selected a neutral palette to allow the textures and colors of the interior to shine.
